Nurturing Fathers Program
The Family Resource Center of Gordon County’s Nurturing Fathers Program is pleased to offer:
Every child deserves a Nurturing Father – A man who actively provides guidance, love, and support to enhance the development and growth of children for whom he cares.
Nurturing Fathers utilizes the Nurturing Father’s evidence-based program to help fathers to strengthen their parenting and nurturing skills. In this 6 week program, participants will learn the secrets for creating safe, loving, stable, and nurtured families through the usage of positive discipline and effective communication. The goal of this program is to help fathers enhance their parenting and nurturing skills and realize how important they are to the healthy growth of their children.
Nurturing Parenting The Family Resource Center offers a 10-week course utilizing the Nurturing Parenting curriculum. This class offers a proven, effective, positive approach to parenting. Helps parents to raise responsible, cooperative children who are able to resist negative peer pressure and thrive by teaching about child behaviors, positive discipline, positive communication, self-esteem, and more. This class is for parents of children 5-12 years of age.
