CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER
A very special thank you to the Clarence E. Harris Foundation, Inc.
for their ongoing support of the Gordon County Child Advocacy Center.
The mission of the Gordon County Child Advocacy Center (GCCAC) is to combat child sexual abuse and physical abuse by coordination, education, and provision of services to alleged child victims and their non-offending caregivers.
A CAC is where children who are alleged victims of physical or sexual abuse, or are witnesses to crime, come and are interviewed in a child friendly environment by a trained forensic interviewer. CAC's provide services to children and their non-offending caregivers.
The GCCAC offers Forensic Interviews, Family Advocacy, Therapy, Prevention Education, and a Non-Offending Caregiver Support Group "Circle of Hope." The GCCAC provides all services free of charge.
